It touches on the obvious themes of two intrinsically linked beings and their mortality. We have poets in the human world expounding
all life's experiences so this is the robot version. A.I. struggling with its perceived humanity. The comparison is its only way to get close to the 'gods' that created it.

Your joints creak and you need oil to limber them up
So do we
You use a complex array of electrical routing to help you communicate, move and do

But you grow from nothing, grow larger and displace – yeah
We stay the same shape from birth, do not breathe and do not care
You live and store memories that make you happy and sad
You love, you cry, you are born, you die
All we can do is sit and stare until rust creeps up our metal bodies
And with a rattle and hum we push the last energy through our diodes to light our eyes one last time

Even if it is the last one the world has to offer
